The Project Manager is responsible for leading project management efforts for assigned projects and areas of responsibility.  In this role the Project Manager is responsible for liaising between technical and business teams, leading project strategy and execution, contributing analytics to business and development efforts, responsibility for overseeing project success metrics including budget, time, scope and others.

In addition to project management activities, ideal candidates will have experience in requirements gathering and analysis, deep knowledge of the product and project development lifecycle, experience in business strategy and implementation, an understanding of databases, and experience working with teams in complex technical environments. 

Qualified candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with consumers, third parties, and members at all levels of the organization including executive management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects through a full SDLC.
  • Utilize Scrum and Agile project methodologies.
  • Develop supporting project documentation and project reporting for all stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and actively measure them.
  • Actively communicate scope changes.
  • Document and manage all change request activities relevant to project.
  • Evaluate new work requests, gather requirements, and draft workplans.
  • Analyze business, technical and stakeholder requirements for projects; map these to best practices and consumer needs to create successful products and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to drive cost saving and/or revenue enhancing initiatives within the company.
  • Assist in the development of other business and technology documents including business cases, product reviews and strategies, market analysis, system reviews and others.
  • Proactively communicate project updates, issues, and other status items to the appropriate organizational level.

Education

Four-year college degree preferably in Mathematics, Engineering, Marketing, Business, Computer Science or related field is required. 

Work Experience:

At least three years in a Project Management or related role. Candidates with experience in eCommerce and banking/financial services industry are preferred.

Other Knowledge:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Proficiency in UML, HTML, SQL, Visio, MS Project, and Photoshop is preferred.
